Grazing Tortoise Seed Mix 1 lb Free Shipping! USA only

Can you tell me if this particular seed mix is for a full sun area or whether it can be in a spot that is part sun/shade. I have a rather large pin oak tree that shades most of my yard of a morning. But for the afternoon and evening it is full sun. Will these seeds grow in this spot?
I also would like to know if you have some sort of ground cover for UNDER this stupid pen oak tree? Nothing seems to grow underneath it. I do need something that is tort friendly.
