Julie with Turtle Rescue of Long Island is having another great raffle to help her continue her work with tortoises and turtles.  By buying raffle tickets not only do you have the chance to win wonderful prizes but it really helps Julie continue her efforts to help and rescue many sick  and mistreated tortoises and turtles.  Please help if you can!

The Turtle Rescue of Long Island 2009 Fundraiser Raffle is here.
Each year TRLI holds a raffle fundraiser to help raise funds to help keep the rescue going.
The money raised helps to buy all the necessary food, equipment and medical care for
those that need it throughout the year to take care of the many turtles and tortoises
that come through our doors.In the past five years TRLI has taken in and placed over 500
turtles and tortoises.

We've got lots of great prizes and I hope you will
all help us out by buying a ticket or two. I try to make the raffle fun
by adding as many prizes as I can and so many wonderful people donate more items
to help make it even better. This year we didn't get one of Sue's wonderful quilts, but
I did manage to find one that is almost as nice. It's an heirloom piece of art that will
last for generations to come. The winner of that quilt will certainly be the
envy of us all, but we do have lots of other great prizes too, of course they
shy by comparison, but nice none the less. Thank you to all those that have
donated to make this raffle an even better success.

Donations for items can be made through the donation button on our home page via
PayPal (approved by PayPal) and a confirmation will be sent to you usually
within 24 hours. Checks or Money Orders can also be sent to TRLI, PO Box 359,
Centereach, NY 11720, but be sure they are mailed prior to Nov. 19th, 2008 to
give time to get to us. Drawing will be held on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November
26th, 2009 so all tickets should be purchased prior to that date to get in the
raffle in time.

Tickets are $5.00 each or five (5) for $20.00 ~ As tickets are purchased I write
your name on a ticket and it goes in my big turtle cookie jar.The drawing will be
held on Thanksgiving, Nov. 26th. All prizes will be mailed to the winners. Good Luck to all
